EVALUATION OF LATERAL RESISTANCE OF STEEL PIPE PILE WITH WINGS IN COHESIVE SOIL BASED ON THREE-DIMENSIONAL FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS

Simulation analyses for in-situ cyclic loading tests in cohesive soil were conducted to indicate that finite element models considering nonlinearity of material , pile-soil separation and a loosened layer valid evaluating lateral resistance steel pipe piles with wings driven by rotational penetration. The results analytical studies demonstrated pile head load approached without when displacement progressed. Linear proposed evaluate reduction due layer.
